ABOUT
KEMBALI BIRU

We, Anna, Michelle, and Neyja, the creators of KemBALI Biru, are three passionate students driven by inspiring ideas and a wave of motivation to create a safe haven for marine life.

MISSION & HISTORY

Our journey began with the announcement of the Change It Challenge by Monash University. Inspired by this initiative, we decided to focus on habitat destruction, a pressing issue due to the alarming rate at which Bali's marine ecosystems are being damaged, leaving countless oceanic creatures without homes.

Together, we combined our strengths into creating KemBALI Biru — in which 'KemBALI' means back and 'Biru' means blue, making it 'back to blue' with the BALI being emphasized in the word 'KemBALI'. We then poured our hearts into creating a video and successfully passed the first stage of the Change It Challenge.

The next step took us to Jakarta, where we presented our ideas and raised awareness about the issue highlighted in our video. Creating the presentation was no easy task, but our dedication pushed us through, earning us the title of Indonesia's Change It Challenge Winners and paving the way to the final stage in Melbourne, Australia. It's not just a competition, it's a mission to bring Bali back to blue.
